Back plates for rear braking system

Hi all

I am new to membership today, and an absolute lover of my classic Lexus , I’m on the look for rear back plates for my is200se 

Obviously I’m hoping the same part has been fitted to other models without the badge price attached !! 
can anyone help me here , as Lexus obviously won’t release a part number to help achieve a cross reference

Hi Nigel and welcome to the LOC.

As far as I am aware there are no aftermarket alternatives, the same backplates are fitted to various Lexus models but at the same Lexus prices ( around £230.00 each!)

Amayama appear to have them in stock which work out cheaper even including VAT and shipping.

That's astonishing the price of those brake back plates. Rip off even. Those plates I bet are quite Toyota generic so I'd look at Toyota cars from around the same year. Even used parts that aren't badly corroded.
