Coolant leak from item below water pump, what is it

Apologies if this seems like a stupid question, but I have a leak coming from just below the water pump and not sure what the item is, is it part of the water pump? 

 

It looks like the gasket has gone as coming from the joint, seems pretty easy to change once I have the right gasket, any advise would be welcome

Hi Nick,

The item you have pictured would appear to be the oil filter housing where it connects to the engine.

I imagine that the leak is from the water pump itself and is making it's way down unseen behind the pulley.
