Hybrid battery image on screen - what for?

Recommended Posts

We have an older - 2006 RX400H and this image has just appeared on the screen. I have no idea what it means and am hoping someone can tell me what it is for and how to correct it if something is wrong.

Many thanks in advance

Charlie

If I remember correctly, you can change the image using the steering wheel control. It is just giving you a view of the Battery charging. Play with the controls and you should see the image change - I do not think there is anything wrong.

It is in the handbook somewher how to change it.

Nothing to worry about there. That's an information screen that can display various info when switched. If you didn't do it purposley then you've just switched it to that parameter by mistake.

If you were actually driving along with this display active, you'd see arrows showing when the traction Battery is powering the wheels or when the car is charging the Battery (the Battery symbol shows the state of charge of the traction battery).

Here you go Charlie, that setting is actually my display of choice.  As advised above, press 'DISP' on the steering wheel to alter.  All this info is in your manual around p120 ...
