RX450h SE-i 2010 Loose Object Rattling

Recommended Posts

So, I’m hearing this rattling sound inside my boot lid when I open and close it, sounds like there’s a small object loose inside, does anyone know what it could be and how I could check?

Also, is there any way I can auto-open the boot lid without pressing the key, there’s only a lock and unlock button on the trunk as far as I can tell

Thank you!

Sounds like a broken trim clip. Just unclip the area around it, pull it away and I'm sure you'll find whatever it is.

The only way to auto open the boot is with the key or the button next to the fuel filler unlock button.

I think some model variations could be set to open with a push of the unlock button, but I don't think that's an option on the SE-i.
