What BHP is the CT200h

Hi Guys…

Now that I need an engine for my Ct200 

Am I correct in thinking that there are 2 engines types a 136BHP & a 98BHP.

If so how do I know what the BHP would be on the engine I’m going to buy … ?

Our CT was delivered with the same trans and engine world wide. Quite unique.

I guess it was the headgasket

It was due to the oil pump packing up 😞

The discrepancy is due to some people quoting the petrol engine power and others quoting the full hybrid system power level (engine+battery assistance).

The petrol engine is 98 bhp. For UK/Europe/US/most of Asia the engine is 2ZR-FXE.

For completeness, the Wiki entry linked to above is missing info about China, where it uses the 5ZR-FXE engine (used in both Prius and CT). It is almost identical to the 2ZR-FXE but don't get one of these.
