What is that snapped part?

Recommended Posts

Hi.  I am a very new in this forum.  I was very proud owner of IS250 and recently had became owner of RX400h, proud as well 😀. I did today a suspension and exhaust  inspection and I am very happy that no major issues were found apart of damaged a part I was unable to identified.  If anyone could enlighten me what the part is damaged that would be awesome.  The location of that broken item is at the rear driver side wheel. Many thanks in advance. https://share.icloud.com/photos/056hiCWHdol6l86T7Im1AaQcw

Hi Marcin and welcome to the LOC.

It looks like the suspension height sensor connecting joint, fairly common failure as the aluminium corrodes and they snap.

You can make them from a piece of threaded rod and a couple of swivel joints or buy the complete unit for around £100.00 on eBay.
