Indicator Stalk self cancel.

i have been out today in the SC430 top down enjoying the sunshine. Something i have noticed the last couple of trips is that the indicator stalk is not cancelling after indicating left. The indicator sound is very quiet and with the the extra exhaust noise I forget the indicator is still on.
Any suggestions how to fix this?

Consider the car is an old Citreon - you have to cancel them yourself! My LS400 indicators are very quiet and that can lead to them being left on.

I would love a DS23 convertible.

Nobody seems too concerned about using indicators around here! Perhaps they figure that other road users will enjoy second guessing their intentions.

I have a similar problem occasionally with the GS460 and it's only the left indicator. I think it's time to take the steering wheel off to see what's not working.

Hi Neil, I had the steering wheel off last year to wrap it so perhaps I have caused the problem myself although I hadn’t noticed a problem until now. I guess I am going to have to take it off again to investigate.

Hi Glyn, it's only on the odd occasion, probably when changing lanes but this gives me the opportunity to moan once again that the earlier V8 Soarer had the option on the indicators to blink 3-4 times and self cancel for lane changing. Another example of the SC430 being underspecified for tech.☹️
