DRL switch on when you engage drive for the first time when starting the car and stay on until powering down on mine. So will not be on if you just power up the car and sit without engaging drive.

If you engage drive and then go back to Park, the DRL should stay on. Or just move the car in drive slightly, then back into park.

A 2014 CT will have DRL as shown in the picture above.

Some CT's from 2018 have uprated lights with the DRL at the top of the headlight.
