Persistent nighttime alarm issue

Hi all

 

We bought a second hand 2018 RX 450hl last year and the alarm has suddenly been going off intermittently all night. I have tried to deactivate the interior sensor - I sit in the car and press the roof console button and get a message ‘theft sensor turned off’. Then I get out and lock the car. But the alarm continues to go off intermittently through the night. Am I doing something wrong to turn off the sensor? 
 

or more drastically can I somehow turn off the entire car alarm?

I think if you lock the car with the key instead of the remote the alarm will not be activated ( as requested on ferries).

It could be a spider, it's now that season.

You might be on to something there. I used to be woken by the same problem from a sensor in the carriage store.

Two years back I was awoken twice in the night jumping out bed rushing to my ISF checking the car and walking around the cul de sac this i did twice eventually not locking the car think something wrong with alarm system 
In the morning getting into the car al large moth was on the inside of the screen this was my car thief good luck with yours
