In the early part of summer we had to drive from Norwich to Scunthorpe.

Filling the car at the end of the journey we found that we had covered 300 miles on 35 litres of fuel.

That worked out at over 38 mpg - which thrilled my Scottish heart! 

What is the best economy you've had?

37mpg on a long round trip to the south coast from the Midlands.

Towing the caravan destroys the economy of course, I struggle to get 22mpg on a long run despite driving optimally

Best I managed 41mpg on my 2008 RX400h.

RX300 - 27mpg

RX400h - 37 mpg

NX300h - 54 mpg
