Beep When Turning on Engine

Hi!

Can anyone help! There has recently started a beeping noise that lasts for about 5 seconds when I turn on the ignition in my 2005 Lexus IS250 that has only just started. I cannot work out what is causing this - I heard that this could be due to the Battery needing replacing? Does this sound right or could there be something else at play?

Any help is appreciated! 🙂

could be key Battery?

Have a look at the info panel between the speedo and rev counter. There may be a warning/alert indicated.

For example .... you might see

• Key Fob Battery low
• Low Windscreen Washer level

These warnings are announced with a beep sound and the first time it happens you wonder what on earth is going on.

Appreciate this! 

I did check all of the displays for any error messages etc but nothing was showing. I did some more research and I thought it may be the car Battery so am having it changed today but then I read more and think this is just the key fob Battery so will replace that too and hopefully should sort it!
