Passenger window up down erratic

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My2010 Lexus LS600hl, based in UK.

Is there a way to reset the electric windows?

Re: My front passenger window

when I  press the window button the window will go down fine, however, when I select auto or keep the window button preSsed to close the window sometimes it goes up and then  straightway comes back down to half way.

The way I get around this at the moment is to bring the window up a little bit at a time and then when it's nearly at the top  keep window button pressed so that it fully closes.

There are no fault codes.

Thanks

Hi

Roll the window all the way down.

Roll the window all the way up keeping the switch up until you hear a click (could be as long as 12 seconds for it to click).

Roll all the way down and keep the switch down, wait for the click.

Roll all the way up and again wait for the click - should be reset.
