Well, the 250 passed its first MOT in my possession today with no advisories, so I'm a happy bunny!  Got the garage to change the filter and oil [supplied by me] while she was up in the air, I'm getting too old to be lying in the road under cars now....:sad:

I know the feeling, I'm finding it hard to do my own repairs now but, don't know any local garages I would trust as I've always done my own.

My days lying under the car are also now finished, getting under is still OK but getting out and back up on my feet is a major problem.

It’s a bugger when the car is in better condition than its owner!

I’m doing the same, engine oil and filter and a transmission drain and refill during the next MOT at my trusted garage.

I must admit my finger nails have never been so clean 😀
