Security plates

Out of interest has anyone had their car damaged by having the security plates fitted on the rx450h ?

They have to remove the front bumper so there is the possibility of damage, same as when any work is undertaken.  But I would expect the dealer to be liable for any damage.

By the mechanic/fitter, perhaps? I had them fitted a couple of months ago and confess I haven't looked up under the wings to see if anything's amiss. Perhaps I should - has your car been damaged during fitment? If you could post a picture of any damage it would be most helpful so other members could check theirs.

Certainly no sign of anything untoward round the bumper on mine. I just gave it a thorough wash a few days ago and would have noticed any marks/damage. As I say, a photo o anything you've noted would helpful. Thanks

Not a mark on mine after the fitting. Apart from looking cleaner under the wheel arch I would not have known anything had been done. 👍

No,,mines booked in next month for the plate to be fitted ,,just wondering if any damage could occur
