Polish

The instructions tell you to rub the polish/wax on and then polish it off. Then spray the car with a mist of water and polish again.

This second polish is hard work as the water makes it smeer, although after this the finish is brilliant.

I've managed to get my hands on some 3M trade stuff, trying it out tonight hope the results are up to the stories I've heard.

Been using Rain-X wax for a couple of years now with great results. Not sure if you can buy it here though- I brought it back from the States last time I was there. Check it out at www.rainx.com

I thought Rain-x had gone by the board. I first saw it in about 1978 when they were marketing a water repellant for windscreens. On a mate citreon cx the aerodynamics were such he hardly ever had to use his wipers!
