Is that the old style MR2 where the spare would usually sit in the front bonnet when lifted?

If so I better jump over to TOC..

I spoke to a mate thats a toc member today.

He told steve to 'go :tsktsk: yourself' he needs the weight in the front to keep the car on the raod :lol::lol:

Besides steve, i doubt the MR2 space saver will work with your 18"s, its a 15" yellow rim with some thick tyres!! He is running 17"s with 215/40/17.

I don'y understand Raz, if your refering to me.. As no one has been rude at all on TOC to my thread.

All I want is a space saver to get me home if the worse happens, can't trust tyre weld in case of major punchure.

Like what Matt said, the Altezza's do have em..

Will ask my friend to measure it up to se if it's the same as the MR2 space saver.

Suppose to be picking one up tomorrow too... But can try first.

Nar, it was a msn convo steve.

Steve, you have 18"s, the space saver is designed to work with the 17"s

But i'm sure if worse comes to worse, you can drive at 30mph with the space saver...

size of the rim doesn't really matter. It's the size of the rim and tyre that need to be the same as the standard wheel.

I think the space saver should allow speeds to up to 50mph.

Just found out the Altezza carries a rim thats 18.5 - 19 " plus tyre ...

If the MR2 one is only 15" do you think the tyre would mae the difference..

Looking on the bringt side, don't MR2's come with 17" wheels like the Altezza does .

MK2 MR2s come with 15" wheels (14" on the pre 93 ones)
