Bubbling noise

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Ever since picking up my T plate is200 there is a regular bubbling noise coming from the middle front of the cockpit. It may be the very back (under the windscreen) in the engine bay. It happens mainly on startup.

I have put this down to the air-conditioning but could anybody confirm this. Or tell me if I should panic.

I never got the sound on the brand new courtesy car I got the other day.

dont be so quick steve! Depending how the interior heater is arranged i.e constant flow or on demand ( i am assuming the heater is constant flow arrangement) it could be some air trapped in the heater matrix.

We used to cure this by having the engine at high revs for about 5 mins - that normally expelled the air, if not it was a case of finding the bleed point and bleeding the system.

as you say it happens on start up I would suspect this is the case

Ok.. I should have read the part "It happens mainly on startup"

I only get this when the aircon has been on quite a while.. noticed it when coming back from JAE

I won't jump on it so quick next time LOL :P
