Gary Kennedy 0
Just been informed that my extended warranty expired in July 2003, i've got the ERR3 code, anybody point me in the right direction? Looks like i will have to pay for the repair or is there another route i could take?
ColinBarber 1,924
Stereo warranty is 5 years so should be covered even if the rest of the car isn't
Gary Kennedy 0
Car first registered in 10th Aug 98, Lexus HQ in UK saywarranty expired end of Jul 04, to say I am annoyed is an under statement! Had a quote from a Company in Leeds for £270 + VAT to repair, this is reasonable when compared to £1,000 + VAT for new from Lexus. Any suggestions?
aido 45
Sometimes they pop up on eBay mate for about a ton? Other option to would be to extend the warranty on the car via Lexus - think you can do this at any point up to 7 years - can't remember what the max milage is though but hopefully that would cover the radio? ColinBarber 1,924
Extended warranty would cover the radio, they should check over the vehicle first though to make sure there are no current faults ;) If getting one from ebay, make sure you get the correct one with the CD slot at the bottom. There is also an IS being broken listed on ebay. May be worth asking about the head unit.
