Flat Battery

Hi all, went out to my car this morn and Battery was flat had'nt left any lights on or had any problems till now, Question is will the Battery be covered under manufacturers warranty as car is only two and half years old if not what will the cost of a new Battery be? cheers Steve. :duh:

Warranty on a Battery on a new car is normally 12 months :(

New Battery doesn't cost much, anywhere will sell one

worth asking about the Battery warranty. I got a new one for my old GS from the Lexus dealer and that had a 2 or 3 year warranty.

Whatever you get, get one with a higher capacity. The stock Battery is too small.

If you end up buying one it will probably be about £50.

Thanks colin will call lexus chester tomorrow and give it a go if not its hand in pocket yet again, at least its cheaper than the wife Steve.

Once again Lexus Chester came up trumps, rang this morn and took car straight up there, they did an earth leakage test and checked electrics no fault so fitted a new Battery under warranty. so have now booked car in for its service next week so will finally have to put hand in pocket, but don't mind as long as i keep getting good service cheers steve. :D
