Trac Stays On

I have a problem.

Lately, my TRAC light is turning on when I start my engine. It has been intermittant. When I turn off the car and start it up again its gone. My car seems to drive normal. Brakes are fine.

Should I be concerned? I manual states that if TRAC stays lighted to take it the the dealer.

I don't have money now to do this. Please help!

Should not worry to much, mine's on all the time at the mo. Something to do with the earthing of the braking electrial system. On mine the ABS is also not working either due to the same fault - earthing.

When you in a better postion, you can get this repaired. I know of a garage in Alyesbury that can do this. Trouble is the time it takes to track the problem down to a specific wire.

Today, the TRAC did not turn on at all. My brake fluid looks old from the master cylinder. I wonder if that's the problem or something due to a electrical issue or a bad switch.

I'll try to bleed out the old fluid and see if that's the problem.

Can't imagine it would be the fluid causing it,i would think an electrical fault as norkep said
