Is200 Audio Problems! Help

Hi People!

Just got myself a amazing LEXUS is200 SE! I know a little late catching onto sure classssssssssssssss! But i have now seen the Light!

Anyways i need help, just aquired myself a minidisc unit lexus autochanger, my problem is i need to get the lead that goes from the autochanger to the headunit. I have looked in the back of the boot under the carpet and cannot see any wire at hand for this item. I am having trouble locating this lead. Any ideas?????

dont think anyone here has that fitted, one ex member did but the dealer fitted that for him - easiest thing is to pop into your dealer and ask them - maybe the MD wiring needs to be put in??

Thanks fluff for the suggestion, buts thats the first thing i did, i have rang at least 10 lexus dealers finding information about it but no-one really knows anything!

The latest i found out today is that the minidisc autochanger has been disscontinued, i have another contact at lexus finding out a part number from belgium! But any more ideas let me know!!

I think the man to speak to is Chris Shipley, as he works for Lexus and knows his stuff, send him a PM. I would imagine you would need to fit the lead, as its not a common opted for extra, and I think I am right in saying that it cannot be fitted if you have Lexus Nav. Most leads of this type are about £30-£50.. with it being a Lexus, who knows...

HI THERE MATE SORRY FOR THYE LATE REPLY HAD HUGE BROADBAND PROBLEMS RUNNING ON 56K DIAL UP SERVICE AT THE MO. ANYWAYS STILL NO LUCK FINDING THIS LEAD, YOU MENTIONED I NEED TO CONTACT CHRIS SHIPLEY TO HELP WITH THIS MATTER. HOW CAN I CONTACT HIM WHICH LEXUS BRANCH DOES HE WORK FOR?
