Can anybody help me ......................just been to the Lexus dealer in Hatfield (v. good) and they tell me that my VSC pump is on its way out.........apparently it doesn't stop the brakes working but it gives off an annoying noise/ alarm and puts the lights on the dash on and off intermitently.............can anyone tell me how to disconnect the VSC (because the value of the car is low the engineer said that he would live with it rather than spend £2000) :crybaby: is there simply a plug that i can pull? thanks Will

The buzzer is located in the dashboard somewhere - I think it's a big job to find it and remove.

Worth asking salvage yards for a master cylinder on a 1998-2000 GS300. I know one or two members have had luck and saved quite a bit of money.

If you use the automatic searches online, DON'T give a mobile number (they'll premium-rate text you), and WAIT FOR A FEW QUOTES BEFORE BUYING. When I bought a Mk1 GS master cylinder and servo I was quoted half the price within half an hour!
