Iridium Spark Plugs

Just looking at getting some iridium spark plugs from the US.

Just have a few quick questions for any clued up people out there!

Will the spark plugs fit, they say they will fit is300 and altezza but will they fit is200??

and whats better to get NGK or Denso plugs.

yes the plugs will fit, denso are good but if u go for something like the IK20, they need to be changed after 30,000miles and not 60K

i think they are ik16? is that right, are they better than the ik20's?

i have been looking on the us eBay and have found full sets of iridium plugs for £20-£30 delivered. don't know what the difference is in ik16/20 etc. Mine need changing and thought i might as well get some decent ones.

are the plugs generic throughout the lexus range or do different models use different types as in the fittings etc because i got a quote of an american company where the postage was something like $20 per 18plugs and they were $50ish for 6 so that works out as roughly £30 a set including postage

They would fit of course, but the IK16 are a bit hotter.

The IK20 have colder ignition and the IK22 just colder ignition.

The IS300 doesn't really need it.

But you can also use IK20 if you want. ;)

IS300 n/A = IK16

IS200 N/A = IK20

IS200 S/C = IK22

Please go for IK20 unless you have a supercharger.
