Performance Mod Uk - Resistor Modification

Hello all,

Has anyone tried the performance modification by Performance mod uk ? it is very cheap only £5 the package includes a resistor and instructions and claims to boost the power output of the IS. The resistor is inserted between one of the cars sensors and engine control unit. They are for sale on eBay of their web site www.performance-mod.co.uk ? is this just a gimmik ? or does it do what they claim ?

What they are offering is a 0.1p resistor that simply fools the engine into thinking its cold - so basically, the result is the same as driving a car with the choke pulled out...

It may appear to 'give more power' but it actually doesnt, and it will increase consumption.

On top of that, it will fry your O2 sensor...

Dont do it...
