Xenon Blubs

Recommended Posts

I brought some of these

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...me=STRK:MESE:IT

Just recieved them today and installed they are quite impressive. Much brighter and actually look legal ,

Also at a bargain price

I would reccomend to any one interested in changing bulbs.

Any one tried the 8500k eurodesign ones. I was temped to get them but thought they might be a bit to obvious to the old bill. lol

They're the same as from Xenondepot Uk based in Canada, I bought some of these - they are ok but no better than the oem bulbs in my opinion. I was fed up with the naff visibility they gave and went out and bought PIAA bulbs for ... ahem... £85 a pair, upgraded my main beams as well and these bulbs are the dogs doobries but expensive!

Mine were from a uk company and they seem ok .

I have heard PIAA are much better but they are also more expensive. These are bargain for under a tenna in my opinion. Worth a try, also less lightly to get pulled over by the old bill. lol

Hi,

Tried the 8500k eurodesign bulbs and am pleased with them. Theyve been on a few months, still work and look a very bright white. I didnt want the tacky looking blue ones.

There was nothing to lose at that price.

That will stand up in a court of law... They look legal!

:P

first ones i got off eBay blew up after a few weeks but got the ones from canada last year and they were going fine till my accident, nearly 12 months of use.

they look much better but actual visibility is probably a little worse than oem but that doesnt bother me.

  • 2 weeks later...

I bought a pair of Xetronics HID bulbs from HIDExpress in the US, for about £130 for a pair of 8500k HID's. Surprisingly I have not been told by the police that they are too bright, even asked a policeman friend of mine of what he thought, he had no complaints either. Best part is, these actually cover a HUGE distance, and give off a nice colour too.
