Not convinced with Banzai, not always that much interesting content.

This new mag seems quite good though so far. Came with a free DVD with drifting comps :D , bit of jap street racing etc.

Plenty to read in it, got a Supra shoot out, all in all not a bad mag so far, have to see how it pans out

This is a really good mag imo as the editor is scary steve initially from fastcar then over to redline (not that I'm saying those car mags are any good whatsoever, but then he has seen the light!) and branched off. The guy tried to turn redline round (I reckon) as thats when he got involved with gt battle (for redline I believe)

He's quite involved in the japanese scene from what I know as he's directly involving the actual japcar owners and he features and is in contact with quite a few jap car forums (where half his cars come from!) the dvd is from newera media i.e. newera imports (some hella sweet cars!!) the drifty cars are Phil and Paz (Chris Parry) from nightspirit. I think the mag is extremely informative about the japanese car tuning industry and the culture.

You can get up to 30% in subscription too ;)

met scary steve quite a while ago at Halfords orpington when he worked for fast car, he definately knows his stuff unlike most of the mag people.

didnt pick up the mag as they were all damaged when i saw them, but i will when i see a goodun

Thought there was something familiar there, ages since I've been anywhere near Redline mag tho, Saxo's just ain't my thing :yack:

I've seen Phills column in there, could be an interesting read in the future, and like you say mate some very sweeeet cars in there :D

It just seemed to be written by genuine blokes rather than people who base their opinions on the freebies they get from manufactures.

any good newsagent will have it, if not most will get it in

the first issue has been out a few weeks now, so will be hard to find now

the second issue should be out in about ten days

ive heard its going to be rather special

Picked it up and put it backdown cos it looked a bit Lairy if thats the right word. Only car mag i buy religiously is Evo.
