Anyone Got An Is200 (99) Bottom Type Cd For Sale ?

Hi,

Suffering from the dreaded ERR3 at the moment and Lexus dealer won't budge on their decision not to replace/repair. So I'm forced to locate a replacement unit ...

So Has anyone got a known working one for sale (must be bottom CD style unit) ...

Its ashame really as i have only had the car about two weeks now (is200 se)

and i really love the sound from the stereo

me too.i've got the message showing ERR3, damn it.........get it to repair, waiting for the reply, thought that will replace alpine head unit....and custom made the case to match the dash........need to try and see.....i new got few unit which exac fit the housing which is fujitsu .

I've got one here lads. It's still in the car cos I was waiting to get the boot install finished before putting in my new Alpine CDA 9855r.

If you want it quickly I can take it out tonite.

I have one that came out of my Lex but not sure on compatibility as i have an S model so no external amp!

Was working fine when i removed it! Been sat under my bed now for about 8 months but was working when i removed it. Its from my 2000 (w reg) IS200 S but like i said before not too sure about it working with the SE/Sport models????

Not too sure how much more life is left in it???

Here are some pics.

Do you have external amp? If so it will fit, but check to see if your plugs are similar to the ones shown in the pic.

I'm after £100 for it. The mini disc ones fetch little more than that..

yes my model SE come with a n amp which is located behind the glovebox, just wondering how much for the minidisc version

They normally go for £150ish on eBay...

You can have mine for £100+ postage (£10) next day.

its the cd player for cars fitted with factory sat nav.

It has different connectors and buttons to the standard cd player.
