Se Or Sports ?

Recommended Posts

Hi All

First off I'm new to this site, so HELLO to you all :)

Second, I'm in the market to buy a used Lexus (which will be my first) after admiring them for so long. Looking at buying something around the 11K mark.

Now my question: Which one, the SE or Sports?? What's the main differeance between them and which would YOU go for ??

Be nice to hear from both model owners as I really am not sure what I should go for.

Many thanks in advance guys!

Before I got my GS, I had an IS200 Sport. The main differences are that it's slightly lowered, has a little bit more oomph, and has the lip boot spoiler, tinted back windows and metal plate pedals. I'm sure I've forgotten loads, so stand to be corrected!

I preferred the look of the sport so went for that. I guess it's very much dependant on your personal tastes, so you should try and test-drive both to make a decision

I was going to mention that too ... but I didn't ;)

If you compare the SE Auto vs the Sport Manual, then it does "feel" like you have more oomph as it's a second or so quicker !

But that's only because it's a manual ! :)

surely if you compared the SE auto against the SE manual it would also feel a bit quicker as well ,

in theory the sport with the extra items would be heavier and therefore slower :whistling:
