Help Needed

Recommended Posts

Had bit of accident last week, A lorry went into me. Luckily was only at couple miles per hour and only damage is a smashed rear left light and even more luckily was that there where no dints paint work apart from a couple of scratches that came straight out straight away with a touch of Mcquires Xscratch phew!!!!!

Anyway my question is, is it easy to fit a new light myself? and is there anywhere I can get the light cheaper? Went to lexus Leeds and they said the part i need £75?

Would it be worth while ringing around some scrappy's for one (I can imagine you dont find many clapped out IS200's around

Cheers,

Phil

Light is easy to fit.

Open the boot and you will see two plastic circular diskson the inside flange of the light, remove them and you will find two screws. Take out the screws and the whole light just slides out.

It's in the manual as you need to do this to change a bulb.

Mate, since you're based in Yorkshire, why don't you try Dewsbury Auto Salvage (Jap auto salvage specialists), I think they've got a couple of IS's in, you should be able to get their number from Yellow Pages (or them 118 118 directory enquiry type services). Try a search on google- I think they have a website as well.
