Sat-nav Problems Anyone?

My sat-nav in my SC430 keeps resetting itself to the initial startup screen for the first few minutes of operation each day,after a very brief flash of "DVD".Then the system is perfect for the remainder of the trip.

This happens maybe 6-7 times with a minute or so in between shut downs,so the million $ question is "has anyone else had this same problem?"

My dealer is taking the car in for a few days to investigate,but says he's no knowledge of similar faults.

Not had this problem on the GS 430, lets hope the dealer can sort it. :)

Sorry Buzz, no comments on this subject, but I wanted to express my appreciation to your reply to my posting which went a long way to allaying my fears.

Hi Nic,

Glad to have put the record straight!

Incidentally my Sat Nav has now totally died....just a blank screen,pity really cause its not what I expected from a "quality" vehicle.Nevertheless a new DVD reader unit is going in next week to fix it.(I hope).
