Cost of an LPG conversion to an IS200 is approx £2,000 don't have figures for a 300 but probably around £3,000......

.......so you'll have to do some whacking mileage to recoup the costs

Thanks mike - i had a suspicion you might post!

3k jeeeesuz see what you mean. Still the way petrol is going!!

Just had my Mk.2 GS300 converted for £1,700 inc. VAT. Romano Sequential Vapour Injection system fitted together with Flashlube valve saver kit. Pics coming soon.

Here's who I initially got in touch with.

Here's who fitted the system (and who's now considering ditching his BMW for a Lexus).

Topped up my tank at 36.9p/litre this evening on my way back from Weymouth, 195 miles of motoring for nineteen quid.

Did the £1,700 include the cost of fitting? If so that is an excellent price!

£1,700 included:-

VAT

Fitting

The system itself

The tank

A full tank

The Flashlube kit (and fitting)

A spare bottle of Flashlube

Free servicing for as long as I own the vehicle (don't know how many garages offer this, but Phil Price Rallying (a.k.a. Phil Price Autogas) does).

Took a bit of tweaking (it initially kept kicking back to petrol above 4,000rpm, also the engine light came on on three occasions) but seems happy now (no issues driving to Weymouth and back last week).

Rough estimate: it'll pay for itself in 17,000 miles.
