Last week I phoned Reading and Guildford for the price of an 80k service. Reading said £263.15 and Guildford said £311 so went to Reading. When I picked the car up they were going to charge me £356 so I queried it. Apparently they'd recently changed their prices and the group service manager was there doing holiday cover and quoted the wrong/old price.

They honoured the verbal quote and charged me £263 which was good but the new price is a huge price increase - £93. That's 35% more :blink:.

Lexus Leicester quoted me £480 for an 80k service...............WTF is all that about then?! :crying:

Still, I decided to buy the bits myself and got my buddy at another prestige garage to do it! :D Saved a fortune!
