Arrows On Top Mounts......

Hi,

Got some suspension noises..... with the car still and engine on when you turn the wheel it makes a creeking sound, at first I thought it was the balljoints but now i'm not so sure, any ideas?

the story is that I recently swapped my suspension over and back on the OEM stuff, never had any kind of noises before so my other question is can anyone tell me which way the arrows on the top mounts are supposed to point? I have them going forward at the moment as that's what I thought (and how they were when I got the shocks) but I'm getting a noise coming from them so i'm wondering if they are on the wrong way?

they should be pointing forwards, but outwards

hmm yea sure that's how they are, suppose i'll check one tomorrow. Could the noises come from being under torqued/overtorqued top mounts do you think?
