anybody ever been skiing in finland in particular the resort of ruka, just booked an holiday there in jan and would like to any advice or experiances from anyone who has been

its expensive in scandinavia, but awsome!

i disagree, i think Finish birds are great, as are danish, swedish and Norwiegians

Have to admit thought that on all my travels the birds have seemed better basically anywhere other than in the UK :o

there are plennty of nice birds in the uk

Yeah but Thom, generally speaking, go and sit in any UK town or city and work out the quota of fit birds - then try that in Barcelona or Prague - big difference

Have a friend who went to Finland and they loved it, sure he said it was expensive there but guess that's to be expected, I couldn't believe it when I was working in Denmark, we had a night out and spent over 200 quid on beer, didn't realise the exchange rate until I got home
