Help. In the last few weeks the my is200se has started bumping along a bit. Jumping I suppose. No change to the rpm meter. Slight bump. Only around 2000 rpm, when foot slightly on acc driving slowly in traffic. Other than that all appears ok? Do I need spark plugs. Car now done almost 50k.

Cheers, Misty. :driving:

i think u are describing the lurching u get at low throttle - if it only does it in slow moving traffic then i would say that this is perfectly normal for the IS, nearly everybody has experienced it - next time the car does it, press the snow button - see what happens, it should stop.

but if it does this all the time it is something u should get fixed

Thanks boys. The clutch is perfect at all other times. Does not feel like the lurching they do in cold weather at starting etc. I do get this a little. It can make my coffee spill over lol. My suspicion is a bad spark plug. It has started happening in the last few weeks. Only around 2000 rpm or so when doing about 20 mph. It feels like a bad plug or lead, I have had this on an old car once.
