Hey guys, jus need some info on my lex. past day or two when starting my lex it sounds when turning over that its not goin to start, but it always seems to (fingers crossed).

i am unsure as to wether the Battery needs replacing or according to my mate u have to put distilled water in the Battery, which ive never heard of before and that could be what it is.

just want to know what u guys think?

also when im off and running the engine seems a bit sluggish till it warms up. is this just due to the cold?

cheers all

and happy motoring

:crybaby: Just brought a new one after havin to call out AA to jump start me,tested Battery and suggested a new one as a few cells dead! .With the threat of a cold winter decided to take no chances.Lexus Birmingham quoted me £58 (not bad really) got one from local place for £56(just couldn't be arsed to go all the way to Sutton Coldfield) Most Batteries come with a 4 year Warranty anyway!

The problem with the stock Battery is it's just too small being only 45Ah. Doesn't matter where you get it from just make sure it has a higher capacity but will still physically fit. A good one shouldn't cost you more than £60 maximum.
