Hi there. I have a IS300 and i have a problem with it.

When i have the wheels centered i can put 3 fingers behind the left front wheel but 2 fingers behind the right front wheel. The car vibrates when i brake around 40 mph and up to 65 mph.

Can someone help me. Thanks

Gunnar

Does the car pull right (without braking) and the vibration when braking has this just suddenly happened or has some work been done to the car.

What I'm looking for is 'what was between'

No vibration when braking

Vibration when braking

Car drives fine and only small vibration is found when driving fast but hardly noticable. only when braking it vibrates. the car drives straight.

The car was like this when i bought it and i really hate this vibration. is the balance rod mabye bent or something. I put in new pads but it did not help still the same vibration.

Thanks.

Gunnar

Has the car been in an accident?

Has the suspension been pushed back on one side ?

Don't know any thing about your model, but this sound like an alignment problem

Someone with more info will probably know and send in a post.

Dont know if this helps or is even on the right track but I had exactly the same with different gaps behind wheels etc.

The problem with my car was a bent/ damaged lower ball joint.

Please see post (at my wits end in this section)

Good luck
