Uk Gs300 Sport Manual?

Hello,

A bloke who came to look at my car today told me he had/has a gs300 sport MKI with a manual gearbox, has anyone else heard of a manual version, I didn't even think there was a manual japanese import gs300. He was saying the parking brake handle is a coin holder, and there is a handbrake with the gearshift surround being slightly different.

When i asked the "manual" question of the dealers i was told there is no such thing as a manual GS300 the ones i know about are conversions using the supra getrag box. However i did see an ES being sold here as a GS maybe he got them mixed up but i still don't know if the ES has a manual version

Thanks for the reply, but the bloke was convinced his car was identical to mine, just a manual version, and from the sounds of it, it still have the wooden gearshift surround, but with a rubber tray/mat under where the ashtray was, might have to ask him for some pictures of the interior.

I'd be interested in this as mine is a 6 speed supra getrag conversion and I still need to sort out the gaitor area on mine as its a right mess at the moment.
