Valid Complaint?

In June I took my LS200 Auto for its 70,000 service in Swindon. I thought that the front nearside tyrel was wearing oddly (only 8000 miles use)and asked for a check. That will be £70 I was told for an 'opto alignment check'.

I paid, they said that they found nothing wrong.

OK so I didn't continually check the tyre once they told me it was OK - but when I took it for its MOT last week (77000 miles - tyre had done about 15,000) it failed because the outside edge of the front nearside tyre was worn to the limit. This is adding insult to injury after being charged £70.00 to find 'nothing wrong'.

Do I have a case?

My local dealer is now Coventry

To cap it all the spare wheel was covered in RUST spots when dug from the dark recesses of the boot!
