Led Rear Clusters

mine arrived yesterday, was realy impressed with the quality.

Apart from the point at which the light plugs into the lamp socket.

Mine intermittently worked so i hard wired it into the existing wiring but now i have the warning light for a blown brake light even tho its working fine.

Is this due to the lower resistance that the LED's have compared to the light bulb?

Must say they realy make the back of the car look soooo clean and nice!

I never had a problem with the warning light on my install - try wiring a 6 Ohm load resistor across the +ve and -ve each side.

Lol! Sorry! My fast typing is not up to it!!

I got some of these black LED lights and i notice that they mist up quite a lot, just wondering if anyone else has this problem or have i got a faulty set?

Most aftermarket light clusters suffer this problem, it happens to the Lexus style clusters I have on the Tubby and to a lesser extent the LED's in the IS.

There is a very simple solution to prevent condensation - get out your Dremel and drill a couple of 1mm holes through the back into the lens housing, one each side. The holes will be too small to be noticeable and will allow the lenses to "breathe"
