Car Lack68/klasse Polish

Recommended Posts

Guys, been reading through the Supaguard stuff, and appreciate that it's not to everyones liking so I am avoiding it...

However, I believe that "Klasse" make good polishes, and on eBay one seller has annotated this as a "Supaguard"? OR is this person making monkeys out of would be numb-nuts like me through mis-representation?:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CarLack-68-Acrylic-C...1QQcmdZViewItem

Has anyone used this CarLack68/Klasse stuff, and is it any good? I've seen all the stuff on this forum regarding abrasives etc, but all I want to do is invest time and money in a non-abrasive sealant which I can then apply lots of Carnuba or other good wax and layer it on a new car for a long lasting protective shine.

Any suggestions?

Klasse All-In-One is not a sealant glaze, it is a polish!

If this monkey doesn't know the difference between Klasse AIO and SG I would avoid him.

Actually, the Klasse AIO product is both a polish and a sealant in one. AIO contains the same acrylic resin used on Sealant Glaze. It can be used by itself as a "cleaner wax" to clean, polish and protect the paint in a single step.

If you want additional protection and gloss, you apply Sealant Glaze over AIO.

So is this guy telling the truth when he says that Car Lack 68 is the same as AIO?

There may be slight difference in the formula, but Klasse is manufactured by Carlack, GmbH in Germany.

Excellent guys, so having previously only gone from Turtlewax (!) to Simoniz and back to Turtlewax ( :o) )...

would you say that this is a good product (i.e. CarLack68)

and if so,

which additional Sealant Glaze would you recommend? I suppose I could then finish it off with a good quality carnuba or other non abrasive wax for a deep shine?

TIA...

Yup, good quality wax would finish it off.

Make sure you leave the SG 24hrs to cure before you top it off with a wax.

I use Poorboys natty blue paste wax, excellent for dark colours :D

It arrived in the post within 24 hours...

Experimented on the wifes Honda Jazz -Carlack68 treatment, then the next day P21s Carnuba Wax...only had chance to apply one layer of the wax, but boy did it shine. You could see the creases on my face...

Then the wife made me go shopping and it rained on the car

:msn-cry:
