hi guys, new member here :D

when i first start the car in the morning the power steering dosent seem to work until ive set off

seems really stiff to turn from a standing start ie when i turn the wheel . its ok once im on the move

any ideas , greatly appreciated ! :question:

Hello :D

Any noises..... is the belt slipping..... have you checked the fluid?

Unlikely.... stay patent there is a wealth of knowledge here in LOC

would also assume slipping belt (a slipping belt doesn't always squeal) if this is def not the case then it is poss incorrect grade of or incorrect fluid been used to top it up. (too thick when fluid is cold)

edit just re-read ur post, are you saying it's stiff when stationary and ok when moving, if so, check your front tyre pressures. ;-)

hi ,yes but only when setting off from cold once its running its ok when stationary
