Quick Stupid Question

i have just been given some leave, and checked the fluids befor e i drive up the country, and i cant find the water bottle for the coolant? there is a black tank (empty) behind the rad is that it and is it ment to have anything in it?

i wondered the same but dare not ask as it seemed a stupid question lol, i assumed it went in the little bit in the ront middle of the engine where the little silver cap is

yep thats it - don't be embarressed - it took me a while to figure out how to check the level.

- The level indicator is at the back - if you had not seen it - fill it up into the black plug at the (thinks) left as you look at it fromt hte front.

Use the toyota red stuff - about £15 for 5L

The silver cap is straight into the rad, you can put some in here if its very low, otherwise just use the expansion tank filler cap, it will suck it in from there when needed.
