Removed S/c

Hi all, I have removed the s/c and manifold and fitted to another car (in 2 hours :)) I did the ecu correctly hopefully by cutting 3 wires and re-connecting the green wire, first of all this is correct?

Secondly, at first tickover was at 2k revs then dropped down to 1.5k but this should be 1k as is was before, is this cos the manifold was in the loft etc. and the ecu takes a while to reset properly (after taking the 2 fuses out)?

theres no way on this planet youve removed and fitted a charger in 2 hours .sure your watch aint broken mate.

Thats your problem jasper mate you need a ROLEX daytona not an omega. :winky:

I got offered a ROLEX daytona and thought it was disgusting but its each to theor own! I was conned into getting my Omega. I was told its the watch James Bond has,........mine hasn't got half the thing his has though :blink:

the car is still high on idle, when i depress the clutch it goes from 2k to 1k then back to 1.5k any ideas anyone?

It MUST have something to do with what YOU have done when taking the supercharger off.

It was the same with the ABS light.

Go back and check everything you have done.

looking at the instructions again gordon it must be the ecu wired wrongly, i need to get hold of the socket, what type and size is it? and do halfords sell em?

did you bare back the wires and solder them on mate.best way to do it i think. :)

The wires in question are already exposed just the matter of linking/soldering them back up.

Ok the story for today - - - went to garage and checked all wiring was correct, and it was, took the car to auto electrician and connected it up to the computer, found out which abs wire was faulty but found no fault what so ever with engine (not one fault code)

gettin quite desperate now as I need to change the car asap, anyone have any ideas what it could be?
