Annoying Satnav

Recommended Posts

Afternoon All,

Question is, is there a way to reset the satnav, whilst it's in use ?

The poblem is occational, I have the Lexus Sat Nav and sometimes when driving and I want to enter destination, not all of the options are available (i.e. not blue on screen) for example when I want to put an address in it only shows the HOME button as blue, or I might be able to get a city but then when it comes to the street none of the letters are available to select.

It's annoying.

Does anybody know why it happens or does anybody else suffer a similar problem ? and if so what's the fix.

Also today it completely forgot where I was I was driving along the next thing according to the screen I was in the middle of a field *** knows where.

When I got home I had to re-calibrate ?????

Thanks in Advance

It's the speed sensor that keeps the sat nav saftey feature on ...... you can get rid of it ... however

a) I don't know how to

B) It gets confused when you enter a tunnel, or somewhere out of GPS range, as it wont know where you are till you get out at the other end !
