Induction Kit

Hi guys,

Im planning on getting an induction kit fitted to my IS200 (prolex for example), was wondering if it makes the engine much louder? (Im in to my car audio so dont want to it to affect that!)

Btw recently had a custom exhaust put in, that sound has been ok(asked them to make it as quiet as possible!)- how does it compare in general?

Also does an induction kit effect the fuel consumption?

I think the exhaust made more difference than the induction kit did though my exhaust is fairly loud (both prolex). The induction kit makes it sound a bit gruffer and louder plus it gives a nice growl over 5000 revs. In theory the induction kit could improve fuel consumption a little. Scarface estimated a couple of mpg. I've found it good on fuel consumption but I've been driving more carefully anyway so it could be either.
