Suspension Confusion

Hi Everybody

Just reading through the previous post " Luxus for £3K" and it mentioned air suspension on Celsiors which is my model but I'm confused as I thought the air suspension cars had "ballons or similar" as mine has dampers and springs also mine say on top of the suspension units "toyota electronic modulated suspension" with the word "piezo" in the middle.

So what have I got?

answers on a postcard please or better still on this great forum!!

The Celsiors with air suspension had special dampers that cost around 1500 quid each I think to replace (or some silly amount). Yes, you have air suspension. You can tell by looking by the gearlever and if you can see 2 buttons for ride height and comfort/sport settings, and another for ect/power switch, then you have AIR.

Ah! This is where the confusion comes in as I don't have the ride height buttons or the switch in the toolbox area in the boot.

So still confused!but there again that's normal for me! Mummy!!!!
