Difference Between Euro Is300 And Us Is300?

Recommended Posts

Does anyone kwon if theres differences between the Euro and the US spec IS 300's?

Im considering upgrading my IS200.

At first glance I see the bumpers are a bit chunkier on the US spec 300's? or is this also so on the Euro's?

- thats the part I dont like about the 300 by the way...

thanks!

The US model had the option of a 6 speed maual or the 5 speed e-shift auto. In addition to the chunky bumpers the US model also has indicator lights on the bumpers. The engine layout is also slightly different to accommodate the LHD.

the rear inner lights are brake lights in the US, they dont have rear fog lights, the front headlights are not UK complient, as they shine straight ahead.

the high beam is not a high beam, as in Europe, but a DRL (daytime running light)

the tyres that will more than likely be fitted to the car will not be Euro complient either

the car will require an ESVA inspection.
