Security Light On!

Yesterday, I noticed that the red light beside the "security" on the dashboard, was on. <_< I normally just see that light blinking when the engine is shut down and the keys are taken out. Do anybody know what this mean?

on other toyota cars it means that the security system/alarm immobiliser if not functioning and that the light stays on as an indicator - think there is a little bit about it in the owners manual.

Thanks for the replies. I think I have to check the fuses then. That could be the answer. About the owners manual, I haven't got one. Trying to find out where to get one cause then I can get answer to most of my questions. Maybe somebody know where I can buy one on the www?
