Rear Springs

I've got a freind with an N-Plated GS300 Sprot, one of the rear springs has broken and is having problems getting hold of another set, dealers say they don't do them anymore, and TDi sell them for a 98 onwards model..

anybody know where he can get hold of either 1 spring for the rear or a whole set of lowering springs for his GS Sport?

i'd be tempted to look at getting a new set from japan or the states. try www.takakaira.com for starters

Thats strange the dealer not being able to get new springs,they could get new springs and shocks for my import Aristo no problem ;)

Try phoning another Lexus dealer who might want to do abit more leg work for you.

I am suprised they are not readily available.

They come up on eBay from time to time.

I got mine from TDI albeit a few years ago now.

You will be able to source a set from the States but shipping will cost an arm and a leg cos they are heavy.

I'll get my mate to go back to the dealers and see if they can sort something out, but on another he has found a place in Rotherham near sheffield that can make springs for the car, whether they are any good is a different story ;)
